How Do I

Get a Library Account?

Bring photo ID and proof of address; those under 18 will need a parent or guardian signature. If you live outside our service area, bring your hometown’s library card too.

Use My Account?

Search, reserve, and renew items anytime. Find “My Account” on the catalog’s’ home page. Logon with your library card number; your password/pin is your last name in ALL CAPS.

Reserve an Item?

Log into My Account and search to find the item.  Click “Place Hold” and enter your pick up location. 

Renew items?

Log into My Account and click the renew box for the item.  Or call your library to request renewals.

Pay overdue fines?

There is a ten-day grace period on most items.  Items returned after the grace period accrue fines retroactive to the original due date. Overdue fines max out at $3 per item or a total of $10 per patron. This does not include fees for lost or damaged items. Stop by your library to clear your account.

Sign up for our e-newsletters and get great book suggestions and reading lists. Or log into Novelist for author read-alike, award winners, and more.

Sign up for our library e-newsletters for upcoming programs.  Get library news by subscribing to the Community Library Network Update.

Suggest a purchase?

Log into My Account and select New purchase suggestion.  Fill in the title, author, and any other information you have and click on "Submit your suggestion" to order it.

Reserve a Meeting Room?

Meeting rooms are available at all libraries except for Harrison and can be used for non-commercial, non-profit use.  Meetings must be open to the public.  Rooms are free, unless a special room configuration is requested at Post Falls.  Check out our Meeting Room Policy or call your local library for more details.
