The Community Library Network presents: The Hunger Games, Volunteer As Tribute!

In celebration of the upcoming Hunger Games Prequel, join us for the reaping—the selection of tributes to represent each district.

Each month, from November to May, Effie Trinket will host the reaping and award tokens after watching contestants eat snacks, play games, and have fun. Each token represents a chance for winning the grand prize.

Read and win 2 tickets to Sesame Street Live!

Between now and December 5, read 100 books with your child, log what you read on the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten page to be automatically entered into the drawing.
Log in or create an account at CommunityLibrary.net/1000Books.
Drawing will be held December 5, 5pm. Winner will receive 2 tickets to the December 8, 2pm show of Sesame Street Live! at the Spokane Arena.
Prize valued at $125. One entry per child. Drawing open to families with children age birth-5.


Pinehurst Holiday Cookie Decorating

Bring the Family and join us for a fun evening of cookie decorating.

All supplies will be provided. This event is open to all ages.

Rathdrum Library Holiday Stroll

Rathdrum library and the neighboring businesses invite you to take a Holiday Stroll.  

The library will be issuing horse-drawn wagon ride tickets an hour before the 5 p.m. start time.  The bookmobile will be there too, serving up hot cider and cocoa while you wait for your ride. At 5:30 p.m., Lakeland High School choir, under the direction of Mark Sescilla will perform seasonal music. Visit all the shops while enjoying seasonal music and yummy treats.  Partnering businesses will hold a holiday basket drawing and Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will make a special appearance.

Post Falls 3D Printed Cookie Cutters for Ages 16+

Knock the socks off your friends and family members with custom-cut cookies this holiday season!

Our 3D printing workshop will show you how to design unique cookie cutters that will amuse even the grinchiest of your acquaintances. Use one of the library computers or bring your laptop.

Ages 16+ welcome. No registration required; the library will cover the cost of cookie-cutter printing!
