Programs for Kids

Early Learners, ages Birth-4 years

Each month complete a new activity game board and turn it in to any of our libraries to redeem your prize. Limit one activity board per month. Each completed activity board automatically enters you into the grand prize drawing for a Melissa & Doug Band-in-a-Box.

June: Maraca or tambourine
July: Sunglasses or bandana
August: Book of your choice

Kids, ages 5-10 years

The more you read, the more Book Bucks you can earn to spend at the Libraries Rock Book Buck Store. Books, magazines, audiobooks- it all counts!

One minute of reading equals one point. For every 100 points over 1,100 you are automatically entered into the grand prize drawing for a Family Pass to the North Idaho State Fair or a class of your choice at Gizmo CDA.

Level 1- 250 points: Mustache lip whistle and choice of food coupon
Level 2- 500 points: 50 Book Bucks and a pass to the North Idaho State Fair
Level 3- 750 points: 100 Book Bucks
Level 4- 1,000 points: 200 Book Bucks and a free book of your choice
Level 5- 1,100+ points: Grand prize drawing entry
